This result is a report which provides an overview of the current state of the art of environmental awareness and waste management practices in the EU and the pedagogy related to the teaching of these subject areas in the tourism and hospitality sector in particular. The state of the art also includes a section which provides an overview of existing digital games in the tourism and hospitality and environmental education sector, as well as appraising existing game genres and relevant gameplay mechanics as well as how to effectively use these inside and outside of the classroom.
